Misery Loves Company

Jack seems to be doing okay today - after we came home from the vet's check-up this morning, he motored straight to the studio where he keeps me company when I work. The familiar seems to be the most comforting, especially napping next to his best buddy Petey. Perhaps I'll get a little painting done today.

We love all your comments and suggestions - please keep them coming.

Poor Jack. Glad to see he's back home and resting. I'm sure you'll make him very comfortable during his recovery. You and Petey will have to sign his cast. :-)

Give him treats, he'll like it, and you'll feel like you are doing something to make him feel better.

Jack howled with the distant sirens this morning. A great sign that he's feeling a little more like himself.

Jack looks very content, bless his heart. I'm sure he will heal fast now that he's home with you :)

Jack reminds me of our dog, Smiley...who also required a cast on his hind leg. Whenever he would move, I could hear the "clump- clump" of the cast on the floor and it would bring a smile to my face. Sounded like a "little old man" to me.....lol
