Hi to all - I'm back home and very psyched about painting again. It was just the trip I needed. Here's a new dog to add to my grouping for the upcoming show in May.

This is fabulous. Great reflected lighting.
This one is really nice. I love the color in the shadow side of the dog's face. The more I look at it, the more striking the composition is too with the diagonal S shaped shadow leading one direction and the dog's gaze leading the other.
While this is a very nice dog painting, if you could see my Mango (the dog not a painting) you would burn this. I am willing to rent him out for modelling.
What a great guy, I really love how the bright light is hitting the top of his head. Barb
Gorgeous Karin. I just love the way the light relects off of him or her......Glad you had a nice time away
The lighting is outstanding!
I love the lighting - beautiful!!
This is my favourite of your latest group Karin. Just love the light and sense of aliveness here!

The reflective color in his coat is wonderful. As I was admiring it, my husband was looking my shoulder and said "neat, she's painted a dog within a dog." I'd missed it, but if you look at the black on the coat it looks like a Scottie dog's silhouette facing to the left. Karin said she didn't do it on purpose, but...
I love this one! He looks so cute and you can feel the breeze.
This is soooooo cute! I can feel the wind thru his coat.
