"Capitol Domes"

8 x 10"

oil on masonite

sold

I really like this piece - it's loose, dark and, to quote someone else, "buttery". I think all that is better appreciated in person. These two bald gentlemen were in the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.

It is beautiful.

I really like this one. It has a beautiful, dramatic lighting. Plus I like that the man in the painting and the man looking at the painting could be the same person from different periods of time. (and a great title!!)

I think I'm the someone else who refers to your work as buttery, it's the first thing I thought of this time too. Fantastic! Clever title too.
