I just love the mustard yellow wall, set off by the grey steps. A nice feeling of recession along the passages.

I love the composition and the color, and the texture that you've achieved on the steps. This is a departure for you, I like it!

I agree, this is a departure for you. I immediately thought of Van Gogh. The bright yellow, curving wall and textured path. This really has some melodic character. Very nice, your friend will love it!
Your boyfriend is cute too.

My favorite part of this painting is the texture you created in the steps... though they appear gray from a distance, each brush stroke seems to have an amazing amount of color!

Feels like I have been to this place..........Deja vu, perhaps?

Love this, especially the stone facings on the steps and all the roughness everywhere, the not-blended brushstrokes on and near the arched doorways and the dark edges I see all around. This painting is just wonderful.

Hi,

It makes you want to explore.
And I can because I'm from Lisbon :-)

Kind regards,

José

P.S. I guess this is in Lisbon...
