Dickens Inspired Mugshots

One of my collectors is a brilliant writer - mentioned some of those 100 Faces look like they're out of a Charles Dickens novel. So........ several new ones you'll be seeing are part of a small series I've done for her, based on that inspiring idea.

Getting out of the funk I found myself in took one of those perfect moments when the stars align - a beautiful day, I've started a new piece which happens to include one of my all-time favorite works of art - I turn on Pandora on my freakin' awesome iPad and set it to Van Morrison Radio and Bob Dylan's Most of the Time starts playing. It was then that I realized how r-e-a-l-l-y lucky I am. Simple as that. Cool beans.

Karin, I've been in a funk too lately. Pandora is my favorite station to listen to while working. You've inspired me to turn it on and get back to work!
Love your colors in this one...awesome!

Glad you pulled out of the funk. Stars aligned? Today was 2/11/11, and your Blurb of 100 Faces arrived. Way auspicious!

Internet radio is the bomb! I listen to Slacker. I like the name.

Love these faces Karen, I want to know which Dickens characters they are, I love Dickens and used to go to school in his old house, Gads Hill in Kent, means a lot to me! Glad you are out of the doldrums, I hate being there, think its all part and parcel of being an artist!
