"100 Faces, No. 77"

As the sun sets on this New Year's Eve, I wanted to express my appreciation for all your comments during the year and your interest in what I do. It is what drives me - and I thank you.

A brand new year means, to me, to always be brave - take risks - leaps of faith - just be a better person all around. It's never too late to have the life you want to live. Remember that.

Paint on,
and Happy New Year ~ Karin J

I guess I've kind of been a 'silent' observer of your blog. But I wanted to tell you how much I admire your work and also that you inspire me. :) I hope you have a Happy New Year!

Karin,
Thanks for all you do for the art community and how you are always paying it forward. I am so lucky to have gotten to get a little bit of the KJuick teachings as I started out this year.
I hope you have an amazing year in 2011 with lots of new and inspirational blessings coming your way. Take care!

Nicely done!! The colors, the single hair with shadow, the despondent look captured. You are an inspiration. I have enjoyed having these paintings appear in my inbox. Looking forward to what 2011 will bring.
