"100 Faces, No. 69"

4 x 4"
oil on masonite
sold

I seem to have a calm-before-the-storm period right now - the busiest days of my year are right around the corner. Big changes. All for the good, I'm sure of it.

So for now, I do what gives me great pleasure - paint more of the 100 Faces. Maybe I'll end the year crossing the goal line.

It's funny. Most of the felons look like felons, kind of scary, but this guy looks like anybody. Could be a teacher or heck, even an artist!
Beautifully painted, Karin.,

Go girl! All are loosely and bee-u-tee-full-lee painted!

Karin, I love this one. The palette is wonderful...especially the lavender under the chin area...I will be cheering you on with your final pieces in this series...

Karin,
Funny that this one has a calmer feel to it than some- could be the place that you are in reflects here?
Glad you are getting a bit of calm before that storm. I believe that it all happens for a reason. I also believe you will excel and soar beyond what you can imagine!
Best to you...

I LOVE the purples in this. My favorite color. Beautiful against the warm skin tones.
