"Impeccable Taste"

9 x 12"
oil on masonite

I remember thinking those strawberries on her shirt, the turquoise shorts - it was similar to how Matisse painted. Spend enough time observing the life in front of you and moments like this do appear.

From the Art Institute of Chicago, a young woman before Matisse's 'Daisies'.

And an awesome moment it was! This one is quirky and fun between all the color and her stance.
LOVE it!

I find it so amazing and inspiring that you can take the same basic concept and make it fresh over and over.

I like the contrast between the abstract of the painting and the perfect realism you have for the viewer.
Well done.
