I'm abstaining from all sweets that are wonderful and I'm trying to embrace fruit. After all, the colors are beautiful and rich in fruits, a little more so than that of an Oreo.

Do you paint fruits and veggies such as this from life, or do you photograph?
I always take photos and paint from that Mary Lou.
Your fruit paints are beautiful! I keep admiring the cherries but they disappear before I can take out a canvas. Time to keep the camera in the kitchen. Enjoy the bounties of summer.
