In the next few days, you'll see several new paintings inspired from my road trip thru Lancaster, Pennsylvania - where the Amish call home. This young mother and her children stand beside their new spring garden.

Karin, this is my favorite yet. Of course, being a "Lancaster" myself (great maternal grandfather), even ups the ante a bit! LOL This is beautifully done. I too wish I had 1/2 your talent. Heck! I'd be happy with an 1/8th of it!

I just saw your site while browsing. Your work is great. I began painting when I retired and love it so much I paint almost every day. Someday I'll start posting pictures.

Karin, I am new to blogging, but encountered your work in late April at a gallery in Asheville, NC. Love your fresh, clean coloration and spare but active brushwork. This series on the Amish is lovely, and I especially admired your paintings of people admiring works in museums/galleries. I also learned about your DSFDF challenge, and plan to participate in this fun idea.
