"Group Hug"

7 x 7"
oil on masonite
sold

A few of us in the Daily Paintworks group painted tomatoes today. I enjoyed it very much - a change of pace, subject matter... always a good thing. And using oils for what they are meant for - free-flowing color and brush strokes.

just roaming through internet looking at painting blogs and came across yours: it's amazing how good artists are so bold with colours. just my observation as an unsure novice. thanks for sharing your paintings.

These look quite yummy! A very interesting and engaging background to contrast with the tomatoes. You are an inspiration!

Like the title. I can almost taste these homegrown beauties. A tomato worm would have added to the interest.

Great colour...and it's really inspiring to see how differently everyone treats the same subject.
