The editor of Southwest Art Magazine was kind enough to feature me in their 'Artists To Watch' feature, in the April issue. I am very proud. Please click here if you'd like to read the article.
congrats on the write up. I think that is the best American magazine for realistic painting...lots of cowboy stuff of course , but still lots of great artists. By the way, don't know if you ever covered it here, but I was curious why you work from a black ground?
Hey Karin, That's great to get a write up. You're doing some fantastic paintings and it's fun to watch from your shoulder, like a Texas Turkey Vulture. :)
How fun to find this on your blog and website as well. Congratulations! It was also a joy to discover you once again at my door in a magazine! Good news for sure.
Congrats! It so good to see all your hard work pay off.....you're the best. You sure are one to keep watch on! As Mark said we love to keep looking over your shoulder.

"You should keep on painting no matter how difficult it is, because this is all part of experience, and the more experience you have, the better it is... unless it kills you, and then you know you have gone too far." ~ Alice Neel
