Easy to imagine various scenarios ... dinner conversations ... how the people seated at the table were related to one another. Your work is amazing and wonderfully transportive.

Maybe the bad photo helped you with seeing it whole in your head. Your painter's knowledge and imagination could fill in the blanks better than any photo could do it for you.
Whatever the process, I love the result. Such a lovely, rather mysterious painting.
