A rainy day here, very Zen - prompting me to paint a calm, quiet view of life. From the Amish farmlands of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

I am so amazed everytime you post something else. Your colors are beautiful, and after watching the pizza pan video of yours, I see why! I love this like I love all of your work!

Karin, I am continually amazed at the diversity of subjects that you paint so well. Something about this strikes me. It feels a little like the calm after the storm.

Okay, I know this is a double post, but I swear I dreamed about this color blue in the sky last night! I guess I was wondering when I went to sleep how you got that color and it just kept popping up in my dreams! Weird, but such a beautiful color to my eyes!

Karin,
This is a wonderful piece! This is my first visit to your blog and I am blown away by your talent! Every few weeks on my blog I feature an artist I admire - would it be OK to feature you sometime soon?

I love your pieces and especially also appreciate your other site with the photos from which to paint. I usually only work from photos so it is nice to see that others do the same. I may just have to give it a try myself (I seriously lack these artists' talents.
