Happy Trails

Just a quick note - I'm heading to Austin, Texas to teach a 3-day workshop with my friend Carol Marine. A brand new experience for me all around - I've never been to Austin, never taught, let alone took a workshop - but I'm very excited to do it all. Also planning to take hundreds of photos along the drive, out in Texas and in the workshop - so I'll be back in a week with lots to show and tell. Happy trails.

Quote of the day -
"I've been absolutely terrified every moment of my life - and I've never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do." - Georgia O'Keeffe

I would have loved to have taken your workshop, but realized it was just going to be too far away. I hope you and Carol have such a marvelous time you will consider doing it again on the East Coast. I love both of your work. Please take lots of pictures for those of us who will miss all the fun.

Dang I'd like to be at that workshop. I think you and carol ought to do it in Atlanta. That's only a hope skip and a jump for me. :)
Any chance of an Atlanta work shop in the future?

Oh my goodness. Fun habits are so difficult to break. Even for just a week. I'll still click on your site even when I know you won't be there.

Have a great workshop! I'd love to be there, just too far and I am teaching too! Also love the O'Keeffe quote - that one is a keeper!

I'll join the rest of the crew and wish I was there! I also hope see some photos on the blog. By the way, a question for when you get back; I know you work mostly from photos and I wanted to know what kind of camera you use. Thanks!
Pete

Austin is not that far from Canton, but alas, I must work in Dallas while you are doing this workshop! Wish I could be there. I look forward to seeing your photos (and paintings) of Texas when you get back. I love your work and also Carol's work. Have a great workshop! And I too would love to know what kind of camera you use. Jimmie Anne

Hi,
Would love to have lived by your quote of the day...but unfortunately it hasn't been the case, terrified yes, and not done...so, now I am making up for time wasted..
Have just seen your video of your Feb show...I was overwhelmed and tearful when finished...you don't need to see people's faces to be able to read them do you?...
Your work is elctrifying...loved the "my space" boy...xxx

Love the O'Keefe quote - it gives me great hope! I took Carol's workshop last fall in Santa Fe and it was great - I bet this one was even better. Would love to study with you some day. Any chance of you joining her in Santa Fe or scheduling a workshop in the San Diego, CA area? Your paintings are wonderful and I enjoy looking everyday. Thanks.
