"Pack Man"

12 x 7"

Boy did I work hard on this ocean.  Some artists can make it look so easy.

From the beach on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina - a man and his pack taking a brisk walk on the morning after Hurricane Sandy had passed.

The ocean (and the rest of it) is fabulous. Lots of times oceans appear as a flat vertical field. Not this! You have a strong sense of space. Fantastic painting!

Yes! The sense of perspective is excellent! The name is definitely closer to the viewer, it reminds me of those 3-D gizmos.

All Ya gotta do is make the work.
When I have an issue with a subject, I paint the subject several times on a different test panel.
Your work is solid.

I feel like I'm there. The mauve/taupe color in the waves is wonderful and hard to "get" sometimes...bravo!
