"A Simple Life"

Adding to my new series from a recent cross-country road trip - a plain, unadorned homestead in west Texas, along Highway 40.  I marvel at little houses like this one, plunked on the edge of an interstate, baking in the hot sun.  I love the somewhat-abstract surroundings and I especially love the see-thru from the front window to the back yard.  So simple.  So cool.

I love that you can see a beautiful painting from such a simple subject and pick out the see through window as a design element. Great painting!

This painting just pops off the page. You certainly know a painting when you see one.
