"Hightailing It"

6 x 6"
oil on masonite
sold

Onward with my series ATL to NYC & Back - it was Saturday morning when we awoke to sunshine and quickly got up and at it. As we stepped out into the real world, it was if all of New York City was coming out of hibernation - their first real, sunny, warm day had finally arrived. The dogs looked happier, the bicycle wheels were rolling and we followed the parade to Riverside Park for a morning walk.

Such a delightful composition. Makes me want to walk in the sunshine (if only it wasn't 100 degrees outside)!
Love those little pops of color, too, nesting in your beautiful greys.

Well, I was looking to see what could posssssiblyyyyy top the last painting with the gorgeous umbrella. You got me with this one too! Love the bulldog:) (Yay- Go Dogs!) The cropping of the round bicycle wheel is fabulous! I am learning that you must have a good design and what a huge part of all of this is. You got it!!

Ditto previous comments.... composition is king (and you are a queen in that kingdom!) ;)

Add to that, you've got such movement going on there too!
