"Sun Block"

6 x 6"
oil on masonite
sold

I really like this piece. I typically avoid busy compositions, too many people in one space - but the abstract-like blocks and lines of color, surprisingly, seemed to contain it all, in a cool way. This new painting is an addition to my new series ATL to NYC & Back.

Very cool! Really like this one. Agree that the abstract lines of buildings kick you right back into the painting. Fun title and great painting!

This is grand. Works wonderfully as an abstract, but you kept those signature people. They're so real and so individual without being either portraits or caricatures. Really nice, really painterly, really signature Jurick.

Love your work. Just ordered the Alter easel from you. Can't wait to use it. The lighting, composition are beautiful. Great work.

How do you get SO MUCH in such a small space? Painterly, but also crisp and precise. No mush. I love it!

Do you ever have people recognize themselves in your paintings quite by accident and comment to you?
