The upcoming group show at 16 Patton is all about landscapes - which does push me to paint what I normally don't on a larger scale. And I do think all of those little daily paintings of houses and more rural scenes prepared me for doing a better job here. Please come see it at the gallery in the fall months - it's a sweet painting in person.

you have an incredible talent.
What a beautiful peaceful scene!
It is indeed a slice of heaven!
That is way cool Karin.
wonderful! You nail the subtleties.
Love this, love the light on the house. You are such an amazing talent!
Nice painting. I love this format for landscapes. Wishing you much success with your show!
What I love the most about this is the justification over the long road back into the house, coupled with the expansive sky. The handling of the sky alone is so great.
While I have been preparing to start my own new blog, I have been reviewing over what you have done over the past several years, and it is just so impressive---a dream come true. I also noted in a bio on you that you started off wanting to be an illustrator. At this point in time, you could illustrate anything you want better than most of us.
I particularly respect how you are willing to take on any subject and are always trying to expand your repertoire.
Your trees are fantastic!
I have long suffered through foliage woes. Yours are an envy.
Sorry to hear about your Jack. Every one of them is a broken heart. Nice tribute to him on your new blog. Too much work to join right now, but will try later on.
Beautiful landscape. Makes me wish I was there. I'm sorry to hear about your Jack. When we lose a pet it can feel so desolate, especially if they have been our sidekick.
Yes I would say all this painting is making you better and better. This is a beautiful piece.
