Dog Show

6 x 6"
oil on masonite

Hi to all - I'm back home and very psyched about painting again. It was just the trip I needed. Here's a new dog to add to my grouping for the upcoming show in May.

This is fabulous. Great reflected lighting.

This one is really nice. I love the color in the shadow side of the dog's face. The more I look at it, the more striking the composition is too with the diagonal S shaped shadow leading one direction and the dog's gaze leading the other.

While this is a very nice dog painting, if you could see my Mango (the dog not a painting) you would burn this. I am willing to rent him out for modelling.

This is my favourite of your latest group Karin. Just love the light and sense of aliveness here!
