"Casual Friday"

6 x 6"

A scene taken from the steps of the Art Institute - a woman waiting for the museum to open up on a busy Friday morning. It's one of the best people-watching spots in the city of Chicago, no doubt about it.

I live the color in her bag and the tones in her clothes set against the gray steps. Good eye, Karin!

Karin, I have been a follower of your work for years but have only been lurking in the background until now. I do have to say that your work is stunning and you make painting look effortless.
