Hello March

I don't like to reveal too much of my personal life on my blog,  it's meant for art after all.  But the month of February has been brutal.  I couldn't be more happy to see March.   It has to be an improvement.

I am currently recovering from surgery.  Yep.  My gall bladder, or what I called 'Alien 3', was taken out.  Recovering is a bit tougher than I expected - but I have high hopes of getting back to my old self in a few days.  High hopes.  She's got High Hopes.

~ Happy March to All

Been there, done that! And I couldn't understand why I didn't heal in a day or two (sound familiar?). Give yourself time & be kind to yourself - it will all work out. And I agree, let's all wave bye-bye to February! Hugs

Heal fast Karin! Spring is coming - a fresh new beginning, like the buds on the trees and the sprouts from the ground - gray is away and color will abound!

Yes, I thought is was worse than childbirth. This too shall pass--hopefully not like a gallstone. Sorry about winter blues coupled with operation, ouch. Some winters are worse than other. Spring might be all that much better, hopefully. Love you and your work. You lift me up and inspire me. Thanks for all you do.

Do not forget that you just had major surgery even though there is no big incision and no huge bandage for a reminder. You'll be tired. You need to rest. Don't pick up anything heavy. Give yourself six weeks of reminding yourself and then you'll be back up and running again. Leading up to that particular surgery is tough and painful.

Heal, get better, baby yourself. And the end of March? Celebrate.

Karin, Seeing your wishes for March & in honor of St. Patty's Day, this old Irish saying seems to be perfect for you...
"May your troubles be less and your blessings be more. And nothing but happiness comes through your door."

I had an operation for a ruptured appendix over the holidays... no Christmas, no New Year's for me! So I totally sympathize with you.
From your last post, your painting hand has definitely fully recovered! (I hope the rest of you has as well.)
