Doris asks - Are you still using iWeb? My web designer/husband was considering using it but says that Apple is no longer supporting it. Are you happy with iWeb as of the last release and will just continue with it? Have you updated your operating system since Apple stopped their support and does iWeb still work for you? Thanks Doris
Doris - I am still using iWeb. After several years of knowing the program so well, I'm sticking with it for my website. When I'm forced to learn a new program, I'll do it kicking and screaming.
I have the last/latest update which works fine with the latest operating system.
Thanks Karin. My husband thinks we should all band together to tell Apple to start supporting iWeb again. My reply to him was that he was certainly being an optimist. I guess we can wish....
Sharon - I use Photoshop CS6. I learned the program years ago when I did photo restoration for people. It's not the only photo editing choice but I'd say it's the best. A cheaper version is Photoshop Elements and fairly easy to use. It's a must for artists.
Karin, I found your little video about your palette very helpful. Have you added any new oil colors since you made it? Coming from pastels to oils, I need all the help with mixing I can get :-)
Hi! Do you have any strategies for filing/organizing your photo images. I keep everything on disc, but I like something tangible that I can flip through and see but it gets overwhelming when one takes so many photos. I know you take alot of photos on your trips... I take a zillion too, but I feel I havent perfected the organization aspect of the discs, photos etc....There is so much to paint and so little time!!!!!
Shelley - That video was done a few years back. Since then, I've fallen in love with many new ones.
Sue - I have multiple 'folders' on my desktop with each 'event', which helps somewhat. You would need a large memory capacity to have as much as I do. If you don't, storing those image files on an external hard drive, devoted to just images, is your only choice. To browse those folders and photos, I use a program called Graphic Converter, which works great for me.

Doris - I think many people tried to convince Apple to keep iWeb updated. And to keep Mobile Me.
Hi Karin, What program do you use to edit your images for the web or publishing?
Thank you so much.

If you have more questions, please wait until the next weekend's Q & A.
Thanks.
