"Driving While Suspended"

6 x 6"
oil on masonite
sold

Not to whine, but this was downright tough. There was nearly a wipe off three different times, I just vowed to plug on.

This new painting is included in my ongoing series ATL to NYC & Back - as we were packed up and ready to leave the island, we wanted to see the Brooklyn Bridge just one more time. It is so iconic, so magnificent.

Boy, I have wiped off things so many times with determined effort to get something right. KNOW what you are talking about. Call mine just plain stubborn. This
composition looks really good, Karin. Good job.

Sure makes me miss home!!! The weirdest thing is happening down here in Key West....they are arresting plein
air painters for not having a permit!!! You can drink alcohol, piss in the streets and sleep in the park but you can't PAINT!!!! I am taking a workshop with Rick Worth who is ready to be arrested for the cause....hope he gets something together before I leave so I can participate. Unbelievable!!! Some mucky muck is smokin' some strange stuff down here...!!!

I understand the wiping off. This bridge is very difficult to paint. It always looks so easy
