Two wonderfully expressive paintings. Love the brushwork and composition!
These are just delightful, Karin! And what treasures for the happy owners.
Just wonderful, so natural and I love the colours you have used.
These are wonderful gifts that will be treasured and cared for lovingly!!
particularly like the girls on the beach, fresh, warm, happy, innocent are words that come to mind. enjoy following your work. r.
Karin, I especially love your brushwork on the first painting - the background color has its own shape and draws almost as much attention as the subject. I really admire your use of "chunky" shading and highlighting; it is a style that I aspire to in my own works.
What delightful paintings, Karin. The woman in the bathrobe could well be me, except mine is pink, and the children look just like my grands. I'm amazed at how good you are with your brushwork and shadows.
Oh, Karin. Just delightful. The shapes and colors in the top one are striking.
