"Asleep"

8 x 8"

oil on masonite

sold

I'm happy to have painted something completely different today. On the way home, late last night, I took a side street and saw this little, old house totally asleep except for the glow of the porch light. Just pure, still beauty.

You've captured a serenity and quiet that is so appealing- lovely work.

I love it! It reminds me so much of Linden Frederick's work. I'm a big fan of his. Nice change of pace.

If this is one of your new directions, it's a great one. You've captured the essence for everyone who's ever left the porch light burning.

Fantastic. Fantastic. Fantastic. I recently did a night painting as well. They're tough. This one has wonderful details and atmosphere. One of my favorites!
