Isn't the dog a little too bright for that room?

It seems as though everything in the room, except the dog, is lit from the window. Wouldn't the dog be back lit as well?

As it stands, the dog seems to have been pasted on.

Wow, I so love this. I'm *in* that room, through your masterful handling of the pigments here. The atmosphere and lighting are PERFECT. And that little dog is beckoning me in her dreams to come over and pet her little head very, very gently.
