"Georgia Grown"

12 x 6-3/4
oil on masonite
sold

Tons of fun with this new piece - I don't do many still-lifes but thoroughly enjoy them. A keen observation from my boyfriend, speaking up that this pile of vegetables would make a good painting. Great vivid, bold color - a perfect subject for using oils. The arrangement includes Georgia grown vegetables I picked up at a local produce stand - Vidalia onions, red tomatoes and Silver Queen corn. This new painting will be included in the Contemporary Realism show at 16 Patton opening June 13th.
