Opening at 16 Patton

I wanted to thank all those who came by the gallery last night, it was a pleasure meeting you - the opening was lively and fun, my good friends, Karen and Neil were there - Karen has beautiful work at the gallery as well. There's nothing better than seeing it all in person. Neil put up several photos of the event here as well.

I had a lucky night and so very grateful for those red dots - it's the finest compliment an artist can get. A big thanks to Douglas Hoover, an artist who took the time to come by for good conversation, my good friends, Juan and Dennis, and Danna, the owner of the gallery, you all make me very proud.

I've got a busy week, packing up the art stuff, taking some time to travel and photograph before my workshop starts - I hope to blog from the coast. See you soon.

Neil Hollingsworth

'Blocks'
by Neil Hollingsworth

My good friend Neil Hollingsworth is showing new work at Anne Irwin Fine Art, here in Atlanta - opening reception is tomorrow evening. His eleven paintings include a variety of objects that are beautifully placed and lit, then painted with such precision and sensitivity. Please stop in the gallery and treat yourself to viewing this gorgeous work in person.

Also worth mentioning are Neil's smaller paintings, currently on eBay - an opportunity you can't miss out on.

some really nice small works of art....

'A New Hat' by Margaret Dyer

Margaret's got some beautiful pastels on auction. I want them all. Take a look when you have a minute.

'Lilacs on the Corner' by Christopher Greco

I like Christopher Greco's paintings and his prices are really reasonable. He sells his work directly from his website/blog. He always paints a variety of subjects, and I love that.

'Bulb Vase No. 3' by Neil Hollingsworth

Neil's auctioned paintings are always outstanding. Every one of them.

A Show Worth Mentioning

My good friends, Karen & Neil Hollingsworth, are showing their new work at Twinhouse, a gallery in Atlanta. Also showing is work by Jeff Cohen - the three really do compliment each other and all are best appreciated in person, so please stop in the gallery tonight if you're in the neighborhood.
