Fantastic grouping and theme song! Makes me want to grab a surfboard, put down the top and hit the beach. Only problem is I can't surf, don't have a convertible and it's still really cold here in New England...
Karin, this is such an entertaining presentation of a fabulous body of work. You even coordinated the images to the music. Where do you find the time? Thanks...really enjoyed it.
Karin you're just the best! Have you given it any more thought about teaching down in sunny Florida? Come down next winter (February) you can have a beach day!!!!
Karin, You seem to have captured people from every possible angle! You never know who is lurking behind that camera! You made me feel like a real slacker, I don't think I have put out that much art in the last year! Very, very enjoyable, I'm off to the beach in the morning. Thank You
LOVE the Beach Series! The music really puts 'cha back in that Surfer Girl state of mind. Was happy to see that the majority of the beach bunnies are a little older and perhaps not quite as "Gidget-like" as they once were. Moondoggie" is holding his own as well. It sort of takes the danger out of going to the beach but leaves in all the fun! "
Your work makes me smile. I love the intimacy and the way you cropped some of the images. You do have a gift for great gesture. Nice music too. Thanks for creating this.
Awesome! Love your video love your work, love your colors. What program did you use to make the video? Roxio or something better? Thank you for the visual treat!
great movie that makes you smile and takes you to a short vacation where you come back from expecting to have sand between your toes ! Well done and thanks for the inspiration
Wonderful! I think we are all represented in there somewhere. Your paintings are unfailingly good. You color and form are always strong and vibrant. Thanks for sharing your work!
This was the most entertaining presentation of a collection of work I have seen. It was fun, humorous, and real. I felt like I knew most of the people in the beach scenes. The music was perfect. Great!! And of course so is the body of work.
Stunning, to use an overused word. I particularly like the nocturne with the moon shining through and the long horizontal one with the white umbrellas and the people all sitting on the beach. The paint handling is fantastic and they aren't all THIN! Thank YOU, Karin!
i feel like i know you now after that video! amazing work, hilarious, i love how the bodies are realistic in proportions and bumps vs. wish i had that bod bodies. also, the poses are so true to what you see at the beach. i felt like i was at cape cod. thanks so much for creating such a fun video!
Whoa! Awesome collection. I LOVE your beach scenes, actually more than your gallery scenes. Terrific to see them all together :)
