"The Perfect Place"

We all have an idea of our dream home - I tend to have more than a dozen - but when I spotted this farmhouse, I immediately thought this is the perfect place. Tucked back off a small road that came off of several small roads, this slice of heaven sat quiet and cozy. It was surrounded by hardwoods and ponds and outbuildings that would make the ideal studio. Oh......I was dreaming alright.

  1. The perfect place is often where one is. With your ability to make paintings, I 'm sure that you will acquire the place you want. Your art is your currency. Keep up the good work, it's just a matter of time. I enjoy the varied subjects that you paint.

  3. Gee whiz, Karen. I have just looked through your archives and cannot find one painting I do not like. The people looking at painting series is superb, but so are the beach scenes and the houses (love the palette - especially the violets). I have just started a daily watercolor painting blog (with a slightly different twist) on the theme of landscape. Also another daily blog on designing and building my studio. Come by for a look some time after they've been underway a while. Keep up the great work - I'm glad to know that you're out there.
