ReplyDeleteTrès joli travail que cette peinture...
Gros bisous
Easy to imagine various scenarios ... dinner conversations ... how the people seated at the table were related to one another. Your work is amazing and wonderfully transportive.

ReplyDeleteFantastic composition Karin! Love, love, LOVE this piece!
ReplyDeleteI just don't know how you do it, every painting is so wonderful. I love the deep value change in this one. The gold of table cloth is fab!
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled upon your blog-Love the sparse detail/color scheme
ReplyDeleteLove the triangle composition of this. And...the look on the woman's face who caught you taking her mug. Hope you are good!!
ReplyDeletei love this painting. The composition and the colors are simple and elegant. I especially like the reflections
ReplyDeleteit reminds me of hopper...i love the wide colours, i also love the yellow... very nice
ReplyDeleteI really love the colour scheme! It's amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove your work. First time I saw your blog! I am new to blogging. I saw your blog on Lisa Daria's Painting A Day. Thank you for sharing your art with the world.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the bad photo helped you with seeing it whole in your head. Your painter's knowledge and imagination could fill in the blanks better than any photo could do it for you.
ReplyDeleteWhatever the process, I love the result. Such a lovely, rather mysterious painting.
