So very in the spirit of Hals.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the collor of your wall.
Historical clothing and portrait style meets contemporary clothing and portrait style. I love it! I chose this as my favorite painting on my blog, Rosa's Picks. I hope you'll come by and check it out! Thanks, Rosa
ReplyDeleteI like how the viewer mimics the body language in the museum piece. I've seen this in other paintings of yours -clever.
ReplyDeleteIt is always amazing to me how you can reproduce a painting in such a teeny tiny space. Love how you captured the body language of the patron.
ReplyDeleteBEautiful painting and I am loving my easel! I use it all the time and it is my favorite by far.
ReplyDeleteJust purchased the new Altereasel. It is sturdy, well built and easily adjustable-very well made. My panels no longer fall off my easel. It accommodates a variety of sizes and thicknesses-ingenious!
ReplyDeleteWonderful painting and I LOVE the name! I can't help but laugh about the body language mimicing.
