I really like this Karin, cows are such gentle creatures and you have captured this one beautifully. I had a cow when I was a little girl - her name was Chocolate Fudge! The good thing about cows is that they will obligingly stand in the one spot until you finish drawing them.
I agree, I love all your work, but their is something extra wonderful about this cow. The colors are so rich and the highlights just right. Great job! I can't wait to see what's next!
Really nice, Karin, and a great exercise in painting black and white in light and shadow. (Beefy looks happy and content)Your appreciation and love of people and animals really comes through in your work. And that's a really nice thing. thanks for sharing your work, Faye
It's moo-tiful and bovinely painted!!
ReplyDeleteKarin this is really great! Actually all of your work is...I love the contrast of light and color. What white do you use? It appears non-chalky.
ReplyDeleteDo I smell a new series in the mix? These are really fun!

ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to paint a cow! Now I have to try! It looks so awesome, I love the light hitting underneath it. The frog is great too!
