I don't like to reveal too much of my personal life on my blog, it's meant for art after all. But the month of February has been brutal. I couldn't be more happy to see March. It has to be an improvement.
I am currently recovering from surgery. Yep. My gall bladder, or what I called 'Alien 3', was taken out. Recovering is a bit tougher than I expected - but I have high hopes of getting back to my old self in a few days. High hopes. She's got High Hopes.
~ Happy March to All
I hope your recovery is fast and comfortable as possible! I look forward to seeing your art again too!

ReplyDeleteHeal fast Karin! Spring is coming - a fresh new beginning, like the buds on the trees and the sprouts from the ground - gray is away and color will abound!
ReplyDeleteYes, I thought is was worse than childbirth. This too shall pass--hopefully not like a gallstone. Sorry about winter blues coupled with operation, ouch. Some winters are worse than other. Spring might be all that much better, hopefully. Love you and your work. You lift me up and inspire me. Thanks for all you do.

ReplyDeleteThe only things you should be lifting are your spirits!
Heal & get well soon.
Take care of yourself Karin. You deserve some good times ahead.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you, Karin. Sorry it was such a rough February for you and your family. The rest of the year's gotta get better, right?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kat
Karin, Best wishes for happy days to come you way, and very soon! Hope that you are feeling better, each day!
ReplyDeleteDo not forget that you just had major surgery even though there is no big incision and no huge bandage for a reminder. You'll be tired. You need to rest. Don't pick up anything heavy. Give yourself six weeks of reminding yourself and then you'll be back up and running again. Leading up to that particular surgery is tough and painful.
ReplyDeleteHeal, get better, baby yourself. And the end of March? Celebrate.
Well wishes for you!
ReplyDeleteKarin, Seeing your wishes for March & in honor of St. Patty's Day, this old Irish saying seems to be perfect for you...
ReplyDelete"May your troubles be less and your blessings be more. And nothing but happiness comes through your door."
Dear Karin, wishing you that you heal soon! Take care yourself, March will be much better for sure :)
ReplyDeleteYou dear girl, take care.
ReplyDeleteFebruary is always the longest month for me! But sounds like yours was rough. I pray you begin to heal in mind, body and spirit. Selfishly, too, because you inspire me so and I miss your work! Take care and get well soon!
ReplyDeleteYou are a trooper! Hang in there and before you now it you'll be back at that easel...My thoughts are with you sweet girl! Take it slow...sometimes a break is just what the doctor ordered!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing your art again soon.
ReplyDeleteI had an operation for a ruptured appendix over the holidays... no Christmas, no New Year's for me! So I totally sympathize with you.
ReplyDeleteFrom your last post, your painting hand has definitely fully recovered! (I hope the rest of you has as well.)
