I've been gardening because, lately, painting became too frustrating.  That's when it's time to get busy doing something different and that usually brings back the flow.   One can only hope.   So I started a new day with a warm-up and to my delight, it did flow.

This gentleman is a new addition to my ongoing series BUST-ED, portraits done from police mugshots.

    parfois il est bon aussi de faire une pause pour mieux redémarrer et le jardinage est une excellente thérapie pour l'esprit...
    Ce portrait est magnifique. J'aime ce regard profond et très expressif.

    I'm glad things are flowing again! This spring has been a rough one for me too. It is good to know I'm not the only one. The key is to always come back and pick up the brush again, right?
