"Shower Stall"

6 x 6"
oil on masonite

Continuing on with my series ATL to NYC & Back - the rain returned on Friday, day 2 in New York, which forced us to catch up on some well-needed rest. We ventured out once in the
afternoon, a brisk walk in the pouring rain to pick up groceries at Zabar's on Broadway - where I spotted this little girl pausing at the crosswalk.

  2. Is there such a thing as just too good?! This is beautifully composed and just full of things to catch your eye and hold your interest. Can't decide a favorite part of it but the lights on the pavement and the outline shadow of her form on the umbrella are just two of them. You just dazzle me all the time:)

  4. Ditto others about the composition. Love the irregular pattern of yellows and greens (amidst the whites, too).
