Our New Pups

Yesterday was a big day ~ Brett and I adopted two brothers.
Meet Zac and Joey.

They are a mix of rat terrier and miniature pinscher - just as sweet as can be. We adopted them from the Little Nuggets Rescue, located in Snellville, Georgia - Lynne is one of the rescue 'moms' who has a lot of dogs that need a good home, including three brothers and sisters and the mom and dad of Zac & Joey. They're all gems. If you're considering a new dog, please check out their website Little Nuggets Rescue ~ Lynne would be grateful and can arrange for any dog to be transported to your location.

It's a happy time here :)

  11. They are lovely. Good for you to adopt some rescues, I wish more people would. I think pretty much every animal I've owned has been a stray or from a rescue centre.

  23. Fantastic! My family is heavily into rescue - unless you NEED a new Chihuahua, it's the only way to go.

But here it is: I once adopted 2 Chihuahua's (actually just outside of Atlanta) at the same time - they loved me - OH Yes the did, but the "bonded-brothers" were like one to each other - and they went NUTS if they were separated! You will never be to them, what they are to each other, but soooooooo worth it!

Have missed your posts. Love "checked out". Hope you find time to paint between house training. Want to hear more about NYC.
    Congrats!
