"Cellular Phone"

6 x 6"
oil on masonite
sold

Better progress today.... thought I'd take on a small study - a woman tucked in a phone booth in the National Gallery of Art.

- a very cool thing to mention, my new book of the 100 Faces was placed on Blurb's best seller page. Thanks to all who purchased theirs. I appreciate it.

Great title. Perhaps she was placing a call to order one of your books!?
Just the phone booth itself is such a
"time capsule".

Boogey on, girl!

Oh Karin, I LOVE this painting. . . it has a very sensual feel to it, and sense of mystery. Love how you see the l crossed legs, but not the face -- just the tip of the nose! And the colors are wonderful. Beautiful!

That's the key. Just have to keep painting (as much as it really isn't much fun) until you break out of the slump. But when you come out on the other side, doesn't it feel grand?m

great pice! Brilliant colour. Reminds me of North by Northwest when the actress is on the phone to martin Landau who's only a booth away from her. Excellent work!
