This face was painted on the red you see as the shirt - which I kept as is. The angle of this head was a bit tough - I went slower to get it right. No doubt the profiles are tougher than the straight-on shots - this being both. Good practice.

I have been enjoying your faces series very much! Great job!
The angle might have been harder but it gives a great sense of immediacy to your figure.
Excellent,Wow 14 to go.
You are amazing.
Keep warm.
Once again, you've nailed it, Karin! This may be the first with such an angle. I really like it.
So much strength in the angled view - nice hot reds.
Very successful. The painting on red comment reminded me of "Gainsbrough". He often painted on red, and was very courageous with his color and poises. Your audience is starting to feel like we are on the side line at a marathon.
Wow! I imagine that angle is hard but you pulled it off beautifully!
14 to go and I'm almost filled with sadness to see you finish this because I've really been enjoying these 100 Faces.
Thank you!
Great color harmony. You captured him perfectly!
Very nice portrait. Really like the colors.
That angle usually is harder because you can just barely see the other eye but in any case...you pulled it off and made it work.
I love your brush strokes!!!!
I'm enjoying all of your portraits but I to tend to favor the ones on the red background - I just love seeing that red peek through in cheeks and noses. Such a wonderful series you have - and I'm glad to hear you won't stop at 100 (what would we do with our withdrawal symptoms??)
