"100 Faces, No. 50"

Oh my God - I've done 50! And I'm loving this project, I really am.

Safe to say I won't chime in until I'm able - I'll be painting with 17 artists, I can't wait. I hope to post glimpses of the workshop and the students' work and my demos - you may have to wait until I return home - it's hard to set aside time during a week like that. Friday afternoon, I'm off to Charleston for the big art weekend - Saturday morning I'm joining other artists painting in Washington Park - a new experience for me. Those paintings done Saturday morning are auctioned at the Charleston Art Auction Saturday night - proceeds go to the art departments of the local public schools. Big week for me.

Stay tuned, I'll be back to the blogging asap.

Happy Halloween

  4. Have a great workshop....those other artists are lucky to have that time with you.The faces are giving me much to think about. I love how you are approaching each uniquely with different underpainting colors.

  5. I was first on the wait list for your Hilton Head workshop and apparently not one person backed out. Now THAT's a popular workshop! Hope the weather is good and you all have a good week and hopefully I'll be first to sign up next year!

  7. Wow, you have a big week coming up.
Hope the workshop goes smoothly and well, that you have a beautiful day to paint outdoors in Charleston and of course, that the Charleston auction is a super success for you and all the artists involved.
It's great you've done 50. This is a really sweet one.
