  1. Fantastic flashes of orange in the skin and lips...these little appearances of colour scattered throughout your pieces to create harmony are by far my favourite features of your work. They're intelligent and work like a dream.

  5. A question (know you love those) what was the backgound color? Looking at so many mug shots, do you feel like you step into the psychology of your subjects? (ok it was two questions)

  6. The background color is a medium purple, really nice tone to paint on, especially for dark skin. I don't want to sound cold, but I see most subjects as objects to paint. Finding that meaningful feature that 'says it all' is intriguing to me.
