Fantastic! This makes me want to go to the ferry building.
ReplyDeleteFabulous, Karin. The shadow of the bench so beautifully handled.
ReplyDeleteA lovely scene, Karin. I especially like that old fashioned wrought iron fence bordering the walkway. Looks like it was a slightly windy day too. What a nice mood this one sets!
ReplyDeleteI use to work just down the street, for a design firm. That is a very typical view. Wish we had the Ferry Market then. It is a great spot to "be".
ReplyDeleteI love your paintings of people in everyday life.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting Karin. Is that pigeon cool or what...looking right at us.
ReplyDeleteExactly! All the things mentioned, the wrought iron, the sense of chilly weather are all great - but just love that pigeon!
ReplyDeleteThe red shirt is magic here! Lovely piece.
ReplyDeleteI like the depth that you have created with the wrought iron fence structure. Your paintings capture a moment in time. Love your figures!
ReplyDeleteYour ability to have the viewer move through this painting is magical.
ReplyDeleteStunning painting - the pigeon is very cool.
ReplyDeleteBelissimo! As usual!
ReplyDeleteIt is all so well done but I particularly like the red hair and that excellent pigeon.
