A couple enjoying the water view behind San Francisco's Ferry Market, while a passerby excuses the interruption. This painting is included in a group show opening tomorrow at the Howard/Mandville Gallery.

A lovely scene, Karin. I especially like that old fashioned wrought iron fence bordering the walkway. Looks like it was a slightly windy day too. What a nice mood this one sets!

I use to work just down the street, for a design firm. That is a very typical view. Wish we had the Ferry Market then. It is a great spot to "be".

Exactly! All the things mentioned, the wrought iron, the sense of chilly weather are all great - but just love that pigeon!
