Karen I love how wet this feels. I really enjoy your work, use of color and your brush strokes (Killer). Are you going to do another painting Demo online. I loved the last one it really help me think through some things. Plus it was really cool that Dustin was in it.
Congratulations on being A Blog Of Note. Your blog looks really amazing, and your paintings are beautiful. I look forward to becoming one of your dedicated followers.
I enjoyed reading your blog & work is just delightful. Nice to view o/seas artists from time to time. I'll be back to see what you're up to! Janet from Australia
Your work is very impressive. I find it hard just to take a few pictures a day, I am amazed that you can do so many paintings and have them look so good. I especially enjoyed this one because the peaches are out in full force.
Hi! Karin Jurick, Congratulation! on being named a Blog of Note... ...by the way, the painting "Juicy Fruit" is very beautiful! Thanks, for sharing! DeeDee ;-D
Quite impressive, karin. I like your style, but am also curious as to why you use only board. Is that because it takes the knife more easily, and is easier to wipe off?
I love ths painting. I adore the way you used the color- it is so vibrant and eye catching. I also enjoy the way you use your paint- absolutely wonderful. Even your composition itself is great. Nice work, I am an artist as well, but painting is certainly not my strong suit. I admire your work- keep it up!
Karin, my question to you before concerned the use of pallet knives. Do you use them? Why do you use only masonite board? Like I said, I like your style and subject matter in almost every example; great work.
Hahaha, yes, very juicy! I might even bid on this one.
