Painting this was an afternoon of Zen. Tiny brushes and anal details in parts, swoops of color in other parts. Oh I wish you could see it in person. This little church and cemetery was in the countryside of Delaware.

Karin, your landscapes are fantastic. I'm really enjoying them.
Your palette lends really well to these recent landscapes, they look so luminous and crystal clear.
A few people are having blogger probs. I'm blanking out on an approach to the new DSDF pic. The week is young though.
What a beautiful painting- such a familiar scene, and yet seen through your eyes.... I love how precise your pieces feel, the way you used details against big sweeps of color... *happy sigh*
I got word of your blog through Neil Hollinsworth's blog. I've truly enjoyed looking at your work as I'm a landscape painter. I'd love to talk to you about your work and whatnot. Have a good one.

Wow, Karin, you keep outdoing yourself again and again. This is so perfect I have no words to describe it.
Love it and know it! Are you a Delaware girl?
Beautiful Karin! I love your trees and have been studying them lately hoping to improve on my weakness.
In a word - beautiful!
Just lovely! Your landscapes have such a quiet sense of place. I really enjoy your work.
This reminds me of growing up in Illinois. About 30 minutes before a tornado would come through the sky would become that color. Nice brushwork. I'm very impressed with your work and have added your feed to my reader. Thank you for sharing!
