Yep - on canvas. Something I rarely do. And it's large. And it's for me. You may recognize Petey and Jack - as they were cuddled under the blanket on a rainy, cold day out in my studio. Just had to paint it.

Just wonderful and I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteSince I am particularly attached to my dogs / studio buddies, I think this is very nice! I just did a small one recently of our dogs, too...also for myself.
ReplyDeleteYou'll always have this painting..and that is so great. Nicely done!
Happy to see you're taking time for you......what a busy girl you are....if you get a break sometime next winter, would love for you to do a workshop in Florida....
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and being such an inspiration.....if I get the "blahs", I check in on what you're doing and I get movtivated! When I view your paintings I just love the stories they tell of everyday people, doing everyday things!
What sweet dogs you have, bet they were fun to paint. I'm happy your internet is up and running, I can relate to how you felt. I've been having some fun lately painting dogs, I chase people around the park photographing their dogs, lol.
ReplyDeleteThis one touches the heart and speaks to all of us dog lovers - a real treasure capturing those special moments in the studio, Karin!
