"A Coat of Pink"

A young woman in the French Impressionists gallery of the Art Institute - seemingly being eyed by Alfred Sisley, who was painted by Renoir. Speaking of coats of color, I'm currently having six rooms painted in my house and they're all different colors - and invariably, the painter keeps asking 'is this what you wanted?' as he slaps on the first brushstroke. 'yep, it's exactly what I picked', I say. My boyfriend had to confirm that 'she's an artist, what can I say'. A good excuse for almost anything weird. And no, it's not pink.

    Love that. It does look like Sisely is ogleing her from his perch on the wall!
    It reminds me of a photo my daughter took in the art institute of chicago of her father and I both fiddling with our cameras while the "Woman Reading a Newspaper" just calmly waited on the wall till we were ready. I think I even sent that to you.

    It is funny that the painting is check'en out the babes. I'm looking at those reflections on the floor. That you did so well. Not so easy for me to render. I should get a layover and go to the AIoC. Bet I'd need two days.

    First may I say I admire your tenacity with your daily painting. I love the shapes of your colors in your work.
    I am amazed how you paint from the black background to your rich colors.
