Dog Show

I know ...... it's different than you may expect of me. That intense color surrounding the whippet just happened. Whippets are pretty intense - perhaps it's fitting. I like it.

    Orange is especially good with that touch of green in the shadow. Weiner dog races are this weekend in Buda (just south of Austin) . . .

    Hi Karen, I have neglected to check you blog lately. I love this painting. Very stong design..I love the repeated horizontal leash & shadow lines and how they make for interesting negative shapes contrasting with the verticle shape of the whippet. The orange is perfect! Will add you to my Favorite Artist blogs so I can check in often.
